Orsolya Fecske was born in Szőny (Komárom county). Her parents are Teréz Balatoni, teacher of hungarian language and grammar, and András Fecske art historian. She spent her early years in Lábatlan then moved to Budapest along with her family. After primary and secondary education she enrolled at Berzsenyi Dániel Teacher's Training College in Szombathely, where she obtained her degree as an art teacher. At the same year she applied for a national scholarship to the academy of Fine Arts in Rome, Italy. Her specialist area was painting. Graduating from the academy with good results, she returned home in 2000.
The beloved masters who guided Orsolya within her area of expertise from the very beginning were Arany Bazsonyi and Sándor Vecsési; furthermore László Patay, whose work-team she joined thus gaining a lot of experience in the field of wall painting.
In 1997 she got her first real assignment to paint the murals of St. Stephen’s church in Alsógöd.
In 2003 she entered the Society of Sisters of Social Service.
From 2001 member of the National Association of Hungarian Artists, and member of the Molnár-C. Pál Circle of Friends.
At present she lives and works in Budapest, engaging in mural paintings (seccos and stained glasses) and also regularly coming out with pieces of graphic work.
